Connect Veterans To Crisis Support
As dedicated advocates for veterans’ well-being, we understand the complex intersection of mental health, trauma, and life transitions faced by active duty, prior military, retired military, veterans and their families. Most veterans, service members, and their families referred to us are eligible for our state-funded program.
We are here to offer short-term, goal-focused counseling to veterans, service members and their families, providing a range of services to support their journey toward healing and recovery:
Intake & Assessment: Our team conducts thorough assessments to understand veterans’ individual situations and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs.
Crisis Planning & Stabilization: We collaborate with veterans to develop strategies for ensuring their safety and managing their crises effectively. Managing access to lethal means is a priority.
Individual Therapy: Evidence-based therapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) are utilized to address a variety of challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and situational stress.
Referral Services: If needed, we facilitate connections to ongoing mental health services to ensure veterans have access to continued support beyond crisis intervention.
We recognize the urgency of providing timely support. All our services are offered remotely via the Internet, eliminating the need for travel and ensuring accessibility to veterans across New Mexico. We have evening and weekend appointments available. Most veterans, service members, and their families referred to us are eligible for our state-funded program.
If you encounter active duty, prior military, retired military, veterans or their families who could benefit from our services, please don’t hesitate to refer them to us. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who have served our nation.
