Case Consulting

If you are a therapist working with a client in crisis, particularly one at risk of suicide or harming others, New Mexico Crisis Counseling offers confidential case consultation services that can provide valuable support for both you and your client.

We understand the immense responsibility therapists carry, especially when faced with complex clinical situations. Our case consultations provide a safe space for you to discuss challenging cases and receive expert guidance from Gayle Porter, LPCC, a highly experienced crisis counselor. We offer two primary types of case consultation services to meet your specific needs:

Urgent Clinical Case Consultation ($150): Ideal for urgent situations involving clients at high risk of suicide or harming others. This service provides immediate support for clinical decision-making, including navigating confidentiality concerns. It often includes additional unscheduled phone consultations and guidance for clinical documentation at no extra charge.

Standard Clinical Case Consultation ($115): Designed for less complex clinical issues that don’t require urgent intervention. This service allows you to explore treatment options and brainstorm solutions for a broader range of client challenges.
Follow-up Support Available

Follow-up sessions ($80) can assist with writing clinical documentation and planning ongoing treatment for your client after the initial crisis has passed. This session may also include reviewing your documentation.
