About Us:
New Mexico Crisis Counseling is a telehealth-based mental health practice dedicated to providing accessible, evidence-based therapy across New Mexico. We serve a wide range of clients with a special focus on supporting veterans. Our clinician-centered approach emphasizes sustainability, professional growth, and work-life balance.
Position Summary:
We are seeking both independently licensed (e.g., LPCC, LCSW, LMFT) and non-independently licensed (e.g., LMHC, LMSW) mental health counselors to provide individual therapy via telehealth. Candidates must hold an active license to practice in New Mexico.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual therapy sessions via a secure telehealth platform
Deliver care that is client-centered, practical, and evidence-based
Participate in clinical supervision and team consultation (if applicable)
Maintain clinical documentation using our provided AI-supported EHR
Follow ethical and legal standards of care and confidentiality
Compensation:
Independently Licensed Clinicians: $60/hour for billable sessions
Non-Independently Licensed Clinicians: $50/hour for billable sessions
$25/hour for approved administrative and supervision time

Telehealth platform, EHR with AI note-taking, internal communication system
Referrals and marketing to help grow your caseload
Qualifications:
Active New Mexico license (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LMSW, etc.)
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
Reliable internet and private space for telehealth sessions
Passion for delivering meaningful, outcome-driven therapy
Experience with or interest in working with veterans preferred
