Serving New Mexico Veterans in Crisis
As dedicated advocates for the well-being of active duty, prior military, retired military, veterans and their families, we understand the complex intersection of mental health, trauma, and life transitions you might be facing.
Serving in the armed forces can increase the likelihood of experiencing crisis. Military service can serve as a catalyst for the development and progression of depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other mental health issues. Difficulty in reintegrating into society or finding purpose, financial struggles, and social isolation compound these challenges. If you were exposed to emotional or sexual abuse during your time in military service you may be at particularly high risk for experiencing crisis. Additionally, the stigma surrounding mental health in the military culture may make it harder to seek help, exacerbating feelings of isolation and hopelessness. Recognizing and addressing these multifaceted influences is crucial in providing effective support and intervention. We break down common barriers to accessing support by getting you scheduled with a therapist right away. Our services are offered via telehealth, eliminating the need for travel and ensuring accessibility to veterans across New Mexico. We have evening and weekend appointments available.
